Mit den Kompakt-Blitzgeräten ELC Pro HD 500 und 1000 hat Elinchrom die zwei wohl am besten ausgestatteten Geräte auf dem Markt. Sie verfügen über viele kreative Features und sind das Resultat aus über 25 Jahren Erfahrung an vorderster Linie in der Entwicklung anspruchsvoller Studio Blitzlicht-Technologie. Die ELC Pro HD Blitze sind intuitiv zu bedienen und verfügen über herausragende Schnelligkeit und Robustheit. Die ELC Kompakt-Blitzgeräte verfügen über ein OLED-Display. Nebst der üblichen Leistungsskala, können nun die Power in Joule, die Blitzdauer und viele andere Einstellungen angezeigt werden. Ein Jog-Wheel ermöglicht eine einfache Navigation durch das neue Bedienungsmenü. Hervorzuheben sind außerdem die blitzschnellen Ladezeiten (0.6 Sek. ELC 500, bzw. 1.2 Sek. ELC 1000 bei voller Leistung) und die superkurzen Abbrennzeiten (bis zu 1/5000 Sek.) um selbst schnellste Bewegungen einzufrieren. Dies alles mit sprichwörtlicher Schweizer Präzision bei jeder Auslösung und konstanter Leistungsabgabe sowie Farbtemperatur.
